PCCW Media has teamed up with SK Global Entertainment to produce a six-part drama series called “The Season”, set in Hong Kong. The show follows a group of friends who come together for a summer of fun but their gathering spirals into a web of deception and power struggles.
The series boasts an impressive cast, including Jessie Mei Li, Karena Lam, Justin Chien, Yvonne Chapman, Celina Jade, Toby Stephens, and Kōki. Chilean director Marialy Rivas will helm the show, while writer and producer Yalun Tu and executive producers Agatha Lo and Chloe Dan are on board.
“The Season” is expected to be distributed globally via Viu across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South Africa, and other markets, with additional distribution details set to be announced. The series aims to showcase Hong Kong’s unique culture, international spirit, and iconic scenes in an authentic way.
