US lawmakers have sided with the public, demanding the Justice Department release its files on financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The vast majority, including Louisiana Representative Clay Higgins who opposed it, supported this move. Higgins explained his reason for opposing in a lengthy statement on social media that is now available online.
