Godzilla has arrived in Fortnite as part of the Battle Pass and Item Shop, bringing a new level of chaos to the battle royale. To become the King of the Monsters, you’ll need to track down the Security Alert portal, which can appear at any time during matches. Once found, be the first player to jump through it, and you’ll transform into a gigantic Godzilla.
Here’s what you need to know:
* Spawn rate: 20% (once in every five matches)
* Timeframe: between 3m and 3m45s into the match
* First player to jump through the portal wins
Godzilla will wield the Heat Ray, a Roar that reveals nearby players, and a Mighty Stomp Attack. However, the fight isn’t one-sided – team up with remaining players to take Godzilla down. Monarch supply drops can be found in the area, providing powerful weapons like the Rail Gun.
To claim the Godzilla rewards through the Battle Pass, level up your account every two levels to unlock new items. The free version of the Battle Pass offers limited cosmetics, while the paid Battle Pass and Item Shop purchases provide exclusive items like the Mechagodzilla outfit for 1,800 V-Bucks.
