HP has announced a significant update to its consumer-focused OmniBook lineup, introducing 18 new models and refreshes across various sizes and form factors. These laptops include the OmniBook 3, 5, 7, and X lines, as well as foldable two-in-ones with stylus support.
The new offerings feature a range of AMD and Intel CPUs, including some Strix Point and Lunar Lake chips. While pricing details are not yet available, HP will showcase the new laptops at various upcoming events.
Among the new models is the HP OmniBook 7 Aero, a lightweight 13.3-inch laptop weighing just 2.2 pounds. It boasts a range of ports, including two USB-C, one USB-A, and an HDMI 2.1 connection, as well as a 43Wh battery. The display features IPS panels with up to 400 nits brightness and resolutions of either 1920 x 1200 or 2560 x 1600.
HP is also refreshing its EliteBook lineup, introducing new models in the EliteBook 6 and 8 series. Some highlights include the EliteBook 8, which supports on-device local AI with up to 32GB of RAM. This feature enables simpler tasks that require lower latency or increased privacy, while larger cloud-based models can handle more complex undertakings.
The company’s new laptops will likely be showcased at various upcoming events, where pricing and availability details will be revealed. With the introduction of these new devices, HP is further expanding its lineup to cater to diverse consumer needs.
