HP Unveils Z2 Mini G1a Mini PC for Professionals at CES 2025

HP has introduced the Z2 Mini G1a Workstation Desktop PC, a compact yet powerful mini PC designed for professionals who demand high computational power in a small form factor. The device is powered by AMD Ryzen AI MAX PRO processors with options ranging from 6-core/12-thread to 16-core/32-thread configurations.

The Z2 Mini G1a supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5x-8533 memory, allowing for up to 96GB of RAM to be allocated directly to the GPU. It is paired with AMD Radeon graphics options and features expansion slots for additional PCIe SSDs, making it ideal for data-intensive workflows.

The mini PC measures 3.4 x 6.6 x 7.9 inches and weighs just over 5 pounds, yet can support up to four simultaneous 4K displays. HP has implemented sustainable design elements, including 20% recycled steel, 60% recycled plastics, and a 100% sustainable outer box.

The Z2 Mini G1a comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro and security tools like HP Wolf Security and HP Sure Start. Pricing details will be announced in spring 2025, with the device expected to be available on HP.com/z.
