Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.’s CEO Antonio Neri has pledged to defend the company’s planned acquisition of Juniper Networks Inc. in court, vowing a “vigorous” response to the US Justice Department’s efforts to block the deal.
The Justice Department filed a lawsuit to stop the tie-up, citing national security concerns over Juniper’s networking equipment used by government agencies and military organizations.
HPE is not considering divesting any parts of the business as part of a settlement, according to Neri.
