HR tech startup Rippling is suing its competitor Deel in Ireland over allegations of espionage. The lawsuit claims that one of Deel’s employees was hired to spy on Rippling. However, French bailiffs hired by Rippling have failed to locate Deel CEO Alex Bouaziz at his listed address in Paris.
Bouaziz is described as “highly nomadic” but remains “very attached to France.” He lists different locations on social media, including Tel Aviv and New York. Due to his nomadic lifestyle, Rippling may need to apply to serve Bouaziz via email instead of traditional mail. Deel denies all allegations and has not commented on the lawsuit.
