Huawei’s new flagship line, the Mate 70 series, will start selling tomorrow. However, Chinese vloggers have already begun testing the devices to get a closer look at their features.
One of the notable aspects of the Mate 70 Pro+ is its use of high-gloss titanium basalt and ultra-durable nylon materials for strengthening the phone. These materials not only provide exceptional durability but also increase drop resistance, as seen in a recent test where the phone fell from 2 meters without suffering significant damage.
The material’s scratch-resistant properties have also been put to the test, with a video showing the Mate Pro+ resisting scuffs when used alongside a titanium-clad iPhone, while the iPhone showed visible marks. The front of the Mate 70 Pro+ is protected by Kunlun Glass 2nd generation, which boasts double the drop resistance of its predecessor.
The back of the phone utilizes nylon to absorb impacts and further enhances drop protection. With these advanced materials in place, Huawei’s new flagship line promises to offer enhanced durability for its users.
