Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness have officially filed for divorce after nearly three decades of marriage. The couple’s assets, worth around $400 million, are being divided among the spouses.
The former couple has occupied properties worldwide, including in New York City, London, U.K., and Australia. Their current homes include a two-story apartment in Manhattan, a penthouse overlooking Bondi Beach in Sydney, and a waterfront home in the Hamptons.
Jackman purchased his downtown Manhattan penthouse for $21 million in 2022. The apartment spans nearly 5,000 square feet over two floors, with an additional 3,700 square feet of outdoor space. He has been spending time in New York, juggling gigs on stage and at Radio City Music Hall.
The couple’s Bondi Beach hideaway is a modern condo overlooking the famous beach, bought for $6 million in 2016. Jackman frequently visits the property, which he previously called one of his “bucket list” destinations.
Their Hamptons beach house was published in an Architectural Digest feature in November 2021 and features three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a private beach. The couple listed this home for rent at $166,000 per month during their split.
The pair also own other properties, including a London pied-a-terre acquired in 2021, although its status is currently unknown. Their primary family home in New York City was listed for sale in 2022 but remains unsold.
