A self-proclaimed healthcare futurist, Jeffrey Charles Hardy, claims that human evolution has stalled after millions of years. He believes we are currently in a suspended state before the second stage begins. Hardy wants humanity to plan for its own evolution.
According to him, human evolution is happening in three stages: the first stage started over two million years ago and ended with humanity’s domination of nature, culminating in nuclear weapons. The mid-1950s marked the decline of this stage, sending us into suspended human evolution. Hardy believes that instead of focusing on controlling nature, the second human evolution should strive for peace.
He founded the Care for Peace Foundation to promote nurturing and sustaining peace through compassionate action. To plan and understand this process, Hardy suggests using four key templates: individual values and responsibilities, growing peace in relationships, fostering holistic well-being in cultural contexts, and unifying efforts across individuals and organizations.
