Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been operating in Beit Hanun, Gaza City overnight, while the Israel Air Force (IAF) launched strikes against over 90 terrorist targets across the Gaza Strip.
On Friday night, IDF soldiers detected suspects approaching them in the Rafah area and fired warning shots to disperse them. The incident is currently under investigation after reports of casualties were received. Before firing, the soldiers had called on the suspects to distance themselves.
In a broader operation, Israeli forces targeted terrorist infrastructure across the Gaza Strip between Friday and Saturday night. In northern Gaza, Division 162 soldiers killed terrorists and destroyed underground facilities. Meanwhile, in central Gaza, Division 99 soldiers uncovered Hamas infrastructure and destroyed several terror sites in Beit Hanun.
The IAF also struck around 90 terror targets across Gaza, targeting underground infrastructure and facilities. The air force’s operation is ongoing, with the exact number of targets struck still being confirmed.
