The Entertainment Community Fund Board Chair Annette Bening, along with a star-studded cast including Lauren Graham and Bebe Neuwirth, will join the A Chorus Line Official 50th Anniversary Celebration on July 27 at the Shubert Theatre. This exclusive event will feature original cast members Kelly Bishop, Wayne Cilento, Baayork Lee, Priscilla Lopez, and Donna McKechnie, as well as special performances by notable artists such as Nick Adams, Sarah Bowden, and Tony Yazbeck.
Directed by Baayork Lee and featuring the original Michael Bennett and Bob Avian choreography, A Chorus Line will be remounted on Broadway. The musical, which debuted in 1975, won nine Tony Awards and ran for 15 years, becoming one of the longest-running Broadway shows. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Entertainment Community Fund’s programs serving dance professionals.
