Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall warnings have been issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for several states across India. The warning is particularly significant for Telangana on August 14, where heavy rainfall is expected.
Additionally, IMD has issued warnings of heavy to very heavy rainfall for other states, including Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Punjab, West Bengal, and Sikkim. The affected regions are expected to experience heavy rainfall, posing significant risks to lives and property.
