Impulse Space, a US-based startup founded by former Key SpaceX Engineer Tom Mueller, has raised $300 million in its latest funding round. The company’s highly agile spacecraft is gaining traction as demand for space tugs – vessels capable of hauling satellites across different orbits – increases.
Mueller, who was the first employee at Elon Musk’s SpaceX, oversees Impulse Space’s development of innovative spacecraft technology. This investment will help the startup further solidify its position in the growing market for satellite deployment and maintenance services.
