Indiana Jones fans are in for a treat as a new release is set to bring back memories of 2009. On January 21, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will gain access to two classic games: Medievil II and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. The latter is an action-adventure game originally developed by Artificial Mind & Movement (now known as Behaviour Interactive) for Nintendo DS, PS2, PSP, and Wii.
Released in 2009, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings received lukewarm reviews, with Metacritic scores ranging from 50 to 63 across different platforms. The game is set to be re-released on PS4 and PS5 via PS Plus Premium, featuring an improved version of the PS2 original.
The new release includes up-rendering, rewind functionality, quick save, and custom video filters, making it more enjoyable for fans. Unlike some other PS Plus Premium releases, this classic will also be available for standalone purchase through the PlayStation Store starting January 21.
