Indiana’s Gabe Cupps Enters Transfer Portal After Limited Playing Time

Indiana basketball guard Gabe Cupps has entered the transfer portal, according to Verbal Commits. The 6-foot-2 guard played only four games this season for the Hoosiers and saw limited playing time.

Cupps had a promising freshman season in 2023-24, appearing in 33 games and averaging 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. He was considered a four-star recruit out of Centerville High School in Ohio.

Cupps’ decision to enter the transfer portal comes after he helped lead his high school team to a state championship in 2021 and runner-up finish in 2022 as the 2022 Mr. Basketball award winner.
