Infinix Unveils Innovative Solar-Powered Phone Concepts at MWC

Infinix has unveiled two innovative phone concepts that harness the power of solar energy to charge your device. The company’s SolarEnergy-Reserving technology uses perovskite solar cells, which are thinner and cheaper to produce than traditional silicon cells. This system can charge a phone at up to 2W while managing heat to prevent overheating.

The first concept features a phone with an integrated solar panel on the back, providing a straightforward solution for those who want to harness sunlight to power their device. However, the second concept – a solar-powered phone case – is more practical and flexible. The case has small contacts that deliver power from the case to a connected phone, making it easy to swap out when needed.

Infinix also showcased its second-gen color-changing E Ink phone at MWC. This new version can run on the internal battery’s power and offers greater customization options with a range of patterns and palettes. The device uses artificial intelligence to adjust its colors based on inspiration from user photos or environmental conditions, such as weather.
