Innersloth Announces Among Us 3D with Cross-Platform Play

Innersloth, the developer behind the hit multiplayer game Among Us, has announced a new game called Among Us 3D. The game will feature a first-person perspective in a three-dimensional world, making it a VR-like experience without the need for a headset.

Among Us 3D is essentially the VR version of the game that was launched in 2022, but now available on PC and other platforms. The new release will allow players to join cross-platform lobbies with VR players on various devices, including Meta Quest, Steam VR, PlayStation VR 2, and PICO.

A demo for Among Us 3D will be available as part of Steam Next Fest on Monday, and the game is expected to launch soon on Steam. The new release includes a revamped in-game currency called “stardust,” which will be used to buy cosmetics in the game.

However, it’s worth noting that the original 2D version of Among Us will not have cross-play with the first-person edition, maintaining its existing gameplay experience.
