Mark Zuckerberg’s social media platform Instagram is requiring all US-based employees to work from the office five days a week, starting February 2. The decision was made by Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, who believes in-person collaboration boosts creativity and productivity.
The plan applies only to employees assigned a desk at a US office and excludes remote workers or those at other Meta-owned apps like Facebook and WhatsApp. Employees still have flexibility to work from home on an as-needed basis, according to Mosseri.
