Intel’s latest graphics card, the Arc B580, is expected to be released soon, and its price has been revealed in a recent leak. According to tech leaker momomo_us, the Arc B580 Limited Edition Graphics Box will cost $250. Additionally, screenshots of the graphics card at four US retailers show it priced as low as $246.
In comparison, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060, currently priced at least $279.99, has only 8GB of VRAM. Meanwhile, AMD’s Radeon RX 7600 has an MSRP of $259.99 with the same amount of VRAM. The Arc B580 is expected to come equipped with 12GB of VRAM.
While the price undercuts Nvidia and AMD’s competition, it’s still a bit high compared to its predecessor, the Arc A580, which can be bought for $169.99. However, if Intel’s Battlemage GPU architecture can deliver on its promises, the Arc B580 could become a serious contender in the low-end gaming GPU market.
Intel has made progress with its gaming GPUs in recent times, but it still needs to address compatibility issues and persuade developers to implement its XeSS upscaling tech into their games. A well-received budget gaming GPU could also force down prices of upcoming Nvidia models, such as the RTX 5060.
The Arc B580’s launch date is nearing, but other companies are also expected to release new GPUs soon, including Nvidia’s RTX 5000 series.
