Intel Core 200H Mobile CPU Lineup Revealed

Intel has confirmed its new Core 200H mobile CPU lineup based on an aging Raptor Lake design, with some significant improvements in clock speeds. The Core 200H family, positioned as budget alternatives to the Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake) family, will feature up to 14 cores and a boost clock of 5.8 GHz.

The new processor lineup will utilize the same Raptor Cove P-cores and Gracemont E-cores used in the Core Ultra 200H series, but with a healthier power envelope. This means the existing products from the 13th Generation are no longer needed, as Intel’s “Series 2” processors inherit minor upgrades over their predecessors.

The flagship Core 9 270H processor boasts 14 cores and 20 threads, while the Core 7 250H features 10 cores with a boost clock of nearly 10% higher than its predecessor. However, there are some inconsistencies in specifications and clock speeds down the stack.

Intel plans to announce the new Core Ultra 200H, Core Ultra 200HX, and Core Ultra 200U CPUs at CES, which will also be used in laptops. Rumors suggest that the Core Ultra 200U series might not be based on Arrow Lake, but instead built using a modified form of Meteor Lake on Intel 3.

The new processor lineup is designed to cater to the mainstream segment, with minor upgrades over existing products. With significant improvements in clock speeds and power efficiency, the Core 200H family promises to deliver improved performance for budget-conscious users.
