Intel is set to release two new Arc-series graphics cards, the B580 and B570, in mid-December. The cards are expected to be relatively low-end models, with prices ranging from $250-$350. According to leaks, the B580 will come with 12GB of memory, a feature not commonly found in similarly-priced GPUs from AMD and Nvidia.
The Arc Battlemage Xe2 graphics cards are likely to compete with the RTX 4060 Ti in the sub-$300 market. Intel’s aim is to disrupt the low and mid-range segments of the gaming market, taking advantage of a gap left by Nvidia’s limited updates in recent months. With Nvidia not expected to announce its RTX 5000 series until early January, Intel may be poised to steal the spotlight.
However, Intel has faced challenges with its Arc graphics cards, including issues with driver optimization and performance. Despite this, the company has made significant improvements since the launch of its original Arc cards two years ago. AMD is also expected to launch its Radeon RX 8000-series graphics card in January, making the next few months crucial for gamers.
Intel’s Limited Edition model will be reviewed by a PC hardware enthusiast, who will provide updates on the latest news and reviews on Forbes, Facebook, and YouTube.
