Intel’s Nova Lake CPUs To Feature Up To 28 Cores & 12 GPU Cores

Intel has leaked its next-generation Core Ultra 400 family Nova Lake CPUs, revealing up to 28 CPU cores and 12 GPU cores across various mobile configurations. The top Nova Lake-HX SKU boasts up to 8 P-Cores, 16 E-Cores, and a total of 24 compute tiles plus four LP-E Cores on the low-power island, totaling 28 cores.

The lineup includes five SKUs, with the Nova Lake-HX featuring up to 4 Xe iGPU cores. In contrast, the standard Nova Lake-H configurations pack up to 16 CPU cores and 12 Xe iGPU cores, while others adopt a similar 16-core count but with only 4 Xe cores. The lower-end SKUs, likely part of the Nova Lake-U series, feature up to 6 CPU cores.

Intel’s mobility lineup is expected to debut in the second half of 2026, although configurations and SKUs may change over time. Following the release of its Panther Lake family later this year or early next year, more details on Nova Lake are likely to emerge. The upcoming Nova Lake-AX SKUs will also rival AMD’s Halo APUs.
