International Delight Coffee Creamer Recall Hits 31 States

A US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall has been issued for two International Delight coffee creamer varieties sold in over 31 states due to complaints of spoilage and illness. The affected products are the 32-ounce bottles of International Delight Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll and International Delight Hazelnut creamers.

The recall, which started on February 21, is categorized as a Class II risk, meaning it may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences. Danone North America, the parent company of International Delight, has voluntarily recalled the products due to a texture issue experienced by some consumers.

Testing data has confirmed that this is not a food safety issue, but rather an isolated quality problem. The best-by dates for the affected creamers are July 2 and July 3. The recall affects over 12,500 cases of International Delight coffee creamers sold in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming.

International Delight is taking steps to address the quality issue, and customers are advised to check their creamers for the affected producing plant code of 51-4114 S. The company apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this recall and is committed to restoring its high-quality standards.
