A 28-year-old investment banker, Carter Anthony McIntosh, died earlier this week in Dallas, Texas. According to a report from the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office, McIntosh passed away on Monday, January 27, at 11:10 a.m. local time. His place of death was listed as 3030 Hester Avenue in the Bell Knox District apartment block.
McIntosh worked at Jefferies Financial Group’s Dallas office and started as an investment banking associate in September 2023. He previously worked at Moelis & Company from April 2021 to June 2023, and Goldman Sachs from January 2020 to April 2021.
The Dallas Police Department is investigating the cause of death, classifying it as an unexplained death. Jefferies CEO Richard Handler and President Brian Friedman issued a statement expressing their condolences to McIntosh’s family and colleagues, offering support and resources for those affected by his passing.
