Inzoi Brings Seasons to The Sims 4-Like Gameplay

Inzoi, the upcoming life simulation game, is taking aim at The Sims 4 by incorporating seasons into its base game. According to Inzoi’s creative director Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, the game will feature four distinct seasons in each of its two worlds: urban Korean-inspired “Dowon” and SoCal-inspired “Bliss Bay”.

Players will be able to select seasonally-appropriate clothing presets for their characters, which will also reflect the current temperature. If a character is underdressed for the weather, they may fall ill or even die from exposure if not properly dressed.

Inzoi’s game world will experience different temperatures and conditions throughout the year, with Dowon featuring colder winters and warmer summers, while Bliss Bay remains warm all year round. The game aims to simulate real-world weather patterns in its environments.

This feature is a major departure from The Sims 4, which has traditionally included seasonal changes as part of expansion packs. Inzoi’s approach has raised eyebrows among fans and critics alike, but it appears that the game will deliver on its promise of immersive gameplay.

As Inzoi prepares for its early access launch in March, it’s clear that the game is aiming to provide a more comprehensive and dynamic experience than The Sims 4.
