iOS 18.2 Beta 3 Released to Developers, Key Changes Revealed

Apple has released the latest beta of its iOS operating system, version 18.2, and developers can now access it. The update is available on devices capable of running iOS 18 and includes several key changes.

One notable change is the introduction of Camera Control, which allows users to open the Camera app with a single press, regardless of whether their screen is on or off. Additionally, Apple has updated the CarPlay icons for next-generation vehicles and made changes to the Photos app.

Users can now customize the navigation bar in the TV app on iPadOS 18.2 beta 3 by adding sidebar items such as channels, apps, library sections, and sports. Other minor updates include fixes for AirTags and AirPods features and a slight redesign of the AirPlay icon in the share sheet.

While not available yet, Apple plans to release a new version of the public beta later this week.
