Apple has released iOS 18.3 beta, currently available for developers and public testers. The update promises minor changes, with a single notable feature: robot vacuum support in the Home app. This functionality is not yet live but allows users to control key functions of their robot vacuums using Siri voice commands.
Other updates include a tweaked Image Playground icon and bug fixes. With only two betas released so far, additional features may be added in later iterations. iOS 18.3 is expected to be released in late January or early February, although its exact date has not been confirmed.
It’s worth noting that this update follows Apple’s typical holiday season software release pattern, where minor changes are made to avoid critical issues during a busy period for the company’s engineers.
