Apple is set to revamp its iPhone’s Health app with a new AI-powered coaching feature in the upcoming iOS 19.4 update, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The feature will offer personalized health recommendations and videos from health experts to inform users about various health conditions and lifestyle improvements.
For instance, if the Apple Watch tracks poor heart-rate trends, a video could explain the risks of heart disease. Food tracking will also be a big part of the revamped Health app, potentially competing with popular fitness apps like MyFitnessPal.
The coaching feature is expected to provide users with fitness-related tips, such as how to improve their workout technique. This feature may eventually be integrated into Apple’s Fitness+ service.
iOS 19.4 is rumored to be released in March or April next year, following the release of iOS 19 in September this year.
