Apple has released its third public beta of iOS 26, bringing several new features to developers and beta testers. These include a Liquid Glass design, the ability to screen incoming calls, and seven new ringtones. The new ringtones are mostly remixes of the default Reflection ringtone, with some unique options like woodwind instruments or synthwave sounds.
To access the new ringtones, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and select Ringtone. The latest ringtones include Buoyant, Dreamer, Pond, Pop, Reflected, Surge, and Little Bird. Apple notes that these updates are still in beta testing, so users may experience bugs or battery life issues.
It’s essential to note that the stable version of iOS 26 is expected this fall, but features like call screening and ringtone options might be adjusted or removed before then. Users are advised to try out the beta on a secondary device to avoid potential problems with their primary device.
