A set of iPhone 17 dummy units has surfaced, revealing the design of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series. The leaks show that the iPhone 17 Air is significantly thinner than expected and sports a screen size of 6.6 inches, similar to the iPhone 16 Pro.
The most notable design change is the placement of the front-facing camera on the left side of the pill-shaped Dynamic Island cutout, which borrows from the iPhone 16 Pro phones. In contrast, the standard iPhone 17 and Pro models retain their traditional right-side camera placement.
While the exact thickness of the iPhone 17 Air remains uncertain, rumors suggest it will be around 4.5-6mm thick at its thinnest point.
