Apple is gearing up to emphasize its improved video recording capabilities in the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro lineup, with plans to focus on vlogging and other video content creation. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company aims to move users away from standalone cameras and encourage them to use their iPhones for more of their work.
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to feature a redesigned rear camera system, with three 48-megapixel cameras and a large rectangular camera bar with rounded corners. While specific new features have not been revealed, the device is likely to boast improved video recording capabilities, including enhanced stabilization and depth-of-field effects.
Additionally, Apple plans to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026, as announced by Gurman. The company has also confirmed that it will release new MacBook Air models featuring M4 chips in March, which may signal a shift in the device’s marketing strategy.
In other news, the first beta of iOS 18.4 is now available, and includes a new Ambient Music feature for Control Center. Apple is also reportedly preparing to launch a second-generation AirTag in May or June, with rumors suggesting improved Ultra Wideband chip capabilities.
