A recent leak has shown off possible design changes for the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max. The leaked renders depict a bold new look, featuring a Google Pixel-like horizontal camera bar along the back of the device. This would be a significant departure from the current iPhone 16 Pro Max design.
The camera bar rumor is considered relatively reliable, so these renders may be based on reality. However, until Apple confirms the design at its official iPhone 17 announcement in September 2025, we must treat these images as speculation.
Other rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 Pro Max include a possible switch to aluminum or titanium materials and a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate. The phone may also feature 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB, and a new iPhone 17 Air model with a record-breaking thickness.
These rumors are all subject to confirmation by Apple, so we’ll need to wait for official announcements before knowing the truth about these upcoming devices.
