Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 17 series in September, with the flagship iPhone 17 Pro model offering several key upgrades. These include a performance boost from the A19 Pro chip, upgraded RAM from 8GB to 12GB, and potentially a vapour cooling system.
The device will reportedly feature a compact design, with a 6.3-inch OLED display, and may also return the aluminium frame. Camera enthusiasts can look forward to a new 48MP triple camera setup, featuring a telephoto lens upgrade from 12MP to 48MP, as well as improved selfie capabilities with an 8K video recording feature.
In addition to these upgrades, Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 26, promises to bring significant improvements in AI and machine learning. This will enable the iPhone 17 Pro to better recognize users’ preferences and provide a more personalized experience.
While the iPhone 17 series is expected to be an attractive upgrade option for current iPhone users, it remains to be seen whether these new features will be enough to persuade those already invested in the ecosystem to make the switch.
