Iran Calls for Nationwide Protests Amid Ongoing Israel Conflict

Iranian pro-regime activists are calling for nationwide “day of rage” marches across the country in response to ongoing airstrikes by Israel. The call was made on Friday morning by Fars News, an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-controlled outlet.

The protests aim to show Iran’s stance against Israeli aggression, with participants encouraged to march and shout slogans demanding freedom and unity. The demonstrations will take place a week after Operation Rising Lion began, which saw Israel conduct widespread airstrikes on Iranian territory last Friday.

Iran has suffered significant losses in the conflict, including the deaths of senior military leaders such as Ali Shademani, Gholam Ali Rashid, and Esmail Qaani. However, Iran has retaliated with over 400 missile attacks and 1,000 drone strikes, including cluster bombs deployed on Thursday.

The Israeli military has claimed to have intercepted around 95% of incoming threats in its airspace, according to the IDF announcement.
