Is the OnePlus 12 Still a Good Deal?

The OnePlus 12, often touted as one of the best budget flagships or best smartphone deals, has had its value questioned due to recent sales. While it’s still an excellent phone, its price tag might not be as attractive as previously thought.

In India, the OnePlus 12 is listed for Rs 60,000 (around $700 in the US), which is a steep price for a device with last year’s processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC). Compared to other options like the Realme GT 7 Pro, which now offers a newer Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and an even larger battery pack (6,500mAh vs 5,800mAh), the OnePlus 12 starts to look less appealing.

To make matters worse, the upcoming OnePlus 13 is scheduled for launch in January with a new, cutting-edge design and specs. With its eco leather back, 2K+ display, Android 15, 50MP triple cameras, and massive 6000mAh battery pack, it’s likely to be priced similarly to or slightly lower than the OnePlus 12.

Given these factors, it’s wise to wait for the OnePlus 13 announcement rather than purchasing the OnePlus 12. By doing so, you can expect to get an even better deal on a device with superior performance and features.
