Israel has intensified its airstrikes against Syria, targeting army bases and infrastructure sites in multiple locations, including the capital Damascus. The operation is part of an ongoing campaign to weaken the country’s military capabilities.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces, the airstrikes hit Syrian army bases in Hama and Homs, as well as “military infrastructure sites” near Damascus. However, the Syrian government reported that civilians and military personnel were injured during the attacks.
The airstrikes mark a significant escalation in Israel’s efforts to limit Syria’s military capabilities following the ousting of President Bashar al-Assad.
