Israel Launches New Wave of Attacks on Gaza, Killing Over 100 Palestinians

Israel has launched a new wave of attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 115 people in a single day. The attacks began with Israeli forces storming homes in the West Bank town of Bruqin, arresting four Palestinian men. In East Jerusalem, Palestinian teenager Mohammad Nidal Abu Libdeh was shot and killed by Israeli forces near the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

In Gaza, Israeli artillery fire has targeted areas east of Deir el-Balah, causing widespread destruction. At least one Palestinian was killed in an attack on a car in southern Lebanon, and reports indicate that Israeli attack helicopters are concentrating intense fire east of Rafah.

The attacks have displaced thousands of Palestinians from parts of northern Gaza, with many more fleeing due to the ongoing violence. The Israeli military has launched Operation Gideon’s Chariots, aiming to seize controlled areas in the Gaza Strip.

As the death toll rises, human rights organizations are condemning Israel’s actions as a “genocide.” The Palestine Red Crescent Society has called for border crossings with Gaza to be opened to allow aid to reach the territory.
