Israel-Palestine Conflict Escalates Amid Ceasefire Talks

Israel’s military continues to carry out operations in Gaza, killing 48 Palestinians and wounding 201 in a single day. The Israeli forces have bombed the “safe zone” in Gaza’s al-Mawasi, killing at least 21 people and injuring dozens more. Meanwhile, French officials arrived in Beirut for talks on implementing the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.

Despite the truce agreed last week, Israeli forces have continued to strike against what they say are Hezbollah fighters, ignoring the agreement to halt attacks. The Palestinian Authority has praised Amnesty International’s report accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza.

The conflict has also led to a surge in displacement, with families forced to sit on rubble without tents or food. French officials are working to address these concerns and ensure that the ceasefire is implemented effectively.

However, the situation remains fragile, with reports emerging of Israeli air strikes threatening northern Gaza’s health facilities. The situation continues to deteriorate, with both sides accusing each other of violating the truce.

Israel claims to have killed 7 Palestinian fighters in West Bank, while a French delegation is discussing the implementation of the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire. The Israeli military says it is continuing its deployment in southern Lebanon, destroying underground infrastructure and eliminating threats.

In another development, at least three people were killed in an Israeli air raid on Gaza City’s Shujayea neighbourhood. Palestinians in Gaza City are reeling from an overnight attack on a residential building that killed and wounded dozens.
