Israel Strikes Hezbollah Suspects at Lebanon Border

Israel launched airstrikes against three suspects in the Mount Dov area, near the border with Lebanon, according to the IDF. The military identified the individuals as they crossed into Israeli territory and emphasized its commitment to a ceasefire agreement between the two countries.

The IDF has conducted multiple operations in southern Lebanon this week, targeting Hezbollah. On Wednesday, it struck a vehicle loading weapons at a compound, while troops uncovered a multi-barrel rocket launcher, mortar shells, and RPGs in a village on Friday.

A recent discovery was made by the 769th Brigade, who found anti-tank missile positions and secreted weapons outside a structure in southern Lebanon during their defensive operation. The status of Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon remains unclear, with a deadline for the end of the 60-day ceasefire set for January 26.
