Israel Strikes Yemen’s Houthis After Missile Attack

Israel launched airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, targeting a presidential palace and power plants, after the Iran-backed Houthi rebels fired a new type of missile at the country. The strikes killed at least four people and wounded 67 others.

The Israeli military said it retaliated against repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist regime on Israel’s civilians. More than 10 fighter jets participated in the strike, targeting locations over 2,000 kilometers away from Israel.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei praised the attack, calling it “the right course of action.” The Houthis, who control Sanaa, denied any involvement in the missile launch and blamed what they called “Zionist aggression” on the city.
