Three recently freed Israeli hostages have come forward with harrowing accounts of their time in captivity, describing torture and interrogation by Hamas. The captives, Sagui Dekel Chen, Alexander Troufanov, and Yair Horn, were held for extended periods in tunnels near Khan Yunis, where they witnessed the treatment of other hostages.
Troufanov, who was released on October 7th, only learned of his father’s murder after his release. The trio alleges that Hamas used interrogation and torture to extract intelligence from them. The testimonies, reported by Israel’s Channel 12, paint a grim picture of the captivity experience for these hostages.
