Israel’s Gaza Attack Leaves Over 600 Palestinians Dead

In a devastating turn of events, Israel has carried out airstrikes in Gaza, leaving nearly 600 Palestinians dead and over 4,186 injured at aid centers. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which provides food distribution services to the region, has seen over 583 Palestinians killed since May 27, while its staff have suffered more than 300 fatalities.

France, Germany, and the UK have condemned threats against IAEA chief Rafael Grossi, with Foreign Ministers Jean-Noel Barrot, Johann Wadephul, and David Lammy releasing a joint statement. They called on Iranian authorities to cease cooperation with the agency and urged Iran to resume full cooperation in line with its legally binding obligations.

Meanwhile, UNRWA continues to deliver vital services despite an Israeli ban, highlighting the grave dangers faced by aid workers on the frontlines. The UK campaign group Palestine Action plans to challenge the government’s proposed designation as a “terrorist” group, which it claims would have far-reaching implications on free speech and assembly in Britain.

The US has approved a $510m arms sale to Israel, including thousands of bomb guidance kits. Trump is set to host Netanyahu at the White House next Monday, amid reports that the US government is pressing for a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
