Israel’s Intensive Attacks on Gaza Kill at Least Nine People During Eid Holiday

Israel has launched a series of intense attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing at least nine people, including many children, during the Eid holiday. The attacks have left thousands of Palestinians without access to basic necessities like water and electricity.

In northern Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp, three men were killed in an Israeli air raid near as-Sikka Street. Two of the victims were in their 30s, while the other was a 19-year-old man. Similarly, in central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah city, three farmers were killed by Israeli forces who targeted a group of citizens east of the village.

Meanwhile, Palestinians in Rafah have been ordered to evacuate to al-Mawasi ‘safe zone’, which has been attacked by Israel throughout the war. At least 50,000 Palestinians reside in Rafah, and the situation is considered dangerous due to Israeli forces’ sudden invasion of the Shaboura area.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has condemned the killing of emergency workers as a “war crime”. The organization recovered the bodies of 15 emergency responders who were killed last week during a rescue mission in Rafah.

As Palestinians observe the second day of Eid al-Fitr, Israeli forces have continued to strike across the Gaza Strip, with artillery shelling and explosions reported in various areas. The situation remains dire, with many people forced to flee their homes due to ongoing violence.
