Italian TV Star Simonetta Lein Sells Childhood Home in €1.45 Million Deal

Simonetta Lein, an Italian TV personality and influencer, is selling her family’s childhood home in the medieval village of Valvasone, Italy, for €1.45 million (US$1.5 million). The historic villa, located on a 2-acre lot surrounded by vineyards, features a four-bedroom main home, an operational bed and breakfast, and 15 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 50 people.

The property boasts stunning architecture, including a three-story bed and breakfast with a stone facade, red-brick tile roof, and rows of box-shuttered windows. The grounds include a vineyard with strawberry grapes, horse stables, a nearly 50-foot pool, and plenty of outdoor areas perfect for enjoying the Italian sunshine.

Lein’s parents purchased the home more than 20 years ago and have continued to live there. Over the years, they’ve introduced eco-friendly elements, such as hypoallergenic paints, efficient heating, solar panels, and an independent well for self-sufficiency. Lein now lives in Philadelphia and wants to bring her family together, which is why she’s looking to sell the house.

Valvasone is a medieval village with a rich history, featuring alleyways, porticos, cathedrals, and an imposing castle that dates back to medieval times. The village has been designated as one of the “most beautiful villages in Italy” by the tourism association I Borghi più Belli d’Italia.

For potential buyers, access is convenient, with a 45-minute train ride to Venice from the nearest train station, less than a two-hour drive to Trieste, and a short drive to seaside towns like Lignano Sabbiadoro and Caorle.
