Jack Osbourne Honors Late Father Ozzy with Heartfelt Tribute

Jack Osbourne has shared a poignant tribute to his late father, Ozzy Osbourne, two weeks after his passing. In an Instagram post, the metal legend’s youngest child expressed his grief and gratitude for the time they had together.

Osbourne posted a video compilation of memories from throughout his life, including him learning how to properly bow and say goodnight to an audience with his father, as well as moments of bonding with their young daughters. The post was accompanied by a quote from Hunter S. Thompson that Osbourne believes captures his father’s spirit: “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body… but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘Wow! What a ride!'”

Osbourne reflected on his time with his father, acknowledging that he felt blessed to have had 14,501 days together. He also expressed sadness and sorrow, but ultimately stated that his heart is full of love and gratitude for the life they shared.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 due to a heart attack, suffering from coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease at the age of 76.
