Jack White Returns to Philly, Leaves Fans in the Dust

Jack White has made rare appearances in Philadelphia in recent years. The last time he played in the city was 2006 when he opened for Bob Dylan with his band, The Raconteurs. Since then, it’s been over two decades since he headlined a show. Rumors suggest that White’s reluctance to return stems from a negative experience with The White Stripes.

However, there is one thing that can lure Jack White back to Philadelphia – his lifelong love for baseball. As part of his mission to visit every Major League stadium, White finally checked off Citizens Bank Park last weekend while watching the Phillies take on his beloved Detroit Tigers. Unfortunately, White left town without performing a show, leaving fans disappointed once again.
