Jacob Anderson sat down with Sam Reid and Eric Bogosian at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 to discuss his character Louis’s relationship with Lestat in Interview With the Vampire Season 3. The song references used by Anderson to describe the tumultuous relationship include Eamon’s 2003 hit “F**k It (I Don’t Want You Back)” and Frankee’s response track “F.U.R.B. (F U Right Back)”.
Anderson explained that these songs are like a metaphor for Lestat’s music, which is a direct response to Louis and Daniel’s memoir. The showrunner Rolin Jones confirmed that the tracks will be used as diegetic sound, with the lyrics revealing details about Lestat’s inner world. Composer Daniel Hart will create all of the songs.
The Season 3 premiere takes place on AMC in 2026. Fans can expect updates and casting announcements during the Anne Rice Immortal Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
