Jaguars 2025 training camp continued Sunday at the Miller Electric Center, with Head Coach Liam Coen’s team making progress in their preparation for the upcoming season. The two-hour practice was marked by several positive moments, particularly on offense.
Rookie running back Ja’Quinden Jackson continues to impress, and his performances have raised hopes about his potential for a roster spot. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence also showed efficiency, especially in the red-zone-heavy practice, where he made a highlight-reel pass to rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter for a touchdown.
Hunter’s athleticism and playmaking ability are evident, making him a valuable asset in Coach Coen’s system. Other notable performances came from tight end Hunter Long and rookie linebacker Jack Kiser, who had an interception return for a touchdown.
However, concerns about injuries arose after Friday’s scrimmage, with rookie linebacker Jalen McLeod listed as week-to-week due to a lower body injury. Veteran defensive lineman Arik Armstead is also dealing with a back issue, which has limited his participation in training camp drills.
With the final practice open to fans scheduled for Tuesday, the Jaguars are making progress towards their goal of a successful 2025 season.
