James Woods Offers Hope Amid LA Wildfires Devastation

Actor James Woods shared a video showing his Pacific Palisades property relatively untouched by the Palisades Fire, which has destroyed over 5,000 structures and killed at least 11 people so far. The actor expressed hope that his home, previously described as “beautiful” and “paradise”, is still standing despite reports of destruction.

Woods’ video shows a landscape largely decimated by the fire, with smoke and damage evident. He panned across the area to show family members of elderly neighbors he helped evacuate, who are now fighting fires on their own hillside.

The actor previously described his harrowing experience escaping the fire in an emotional interview, recalling how he and his wife fled with only the clothes on their backs after completing renovations just last month. Other celebrities, including Milo Ventimiglia and Billy Crystal, have also lost homes to the fires.

Reports from Reuters indicate that over 10,000 structures have been destroyed, with more than 153,000 under evacuation orders across Los Angeles County. Woods denied any connection between the fires and climate change in a social media post, blaming “liberal idiots” for poor fire management.
